So I finally broke the D30 in my TJ
It has an ARB so I figured I would just snag a HP D30 housing and swap my stuff over. So I picked up a bare HP housing out of a '96 XJ. I've been doing some researching and I found out that the HP uses an oil slinger on the pinion side also. I also see on some diagrams, that there is something that's called a baffle. Is the baffle the extra lip that's on the inner pinion race? Also, is there anything else I should know about swapping over? I don't want to swap all this stuff over only to realize I left something out and burned up my gears:shaking: Thanks for any info.
