Searched around and found several older threads but not the information I am looking for.

Doing 78/79 HP44 brake upgrade. Along the lines of this write up.
Vintage Jeep Dana 44 Big Brakes - Jp Magazine

Axle has been converted to 5 lug via F150/Bronco hubs.

Machined the bore of a set of 2002 Dodge 150 5 lug rotors to fit over the backside of my hubs. Found a set of 1/2 x 20 studs with a wide head, knurl diameter, hub fitment and thread length to mount the rotor to the hub securely.

Chucked it all up as an assembly and turned the rotor down to 12.65. So now the rotor is hub centric, A better way to go IMHO.

Have the 8 lug F250 2 piece caliper brackets. They fit on my Reid Ford HP44 knuckles.

Have found that the factory HP44 and HP60 rotors measure out the same except for the center bore on the HP60.

Here comes the questions.

Are the HP44 F250 8 lug calipers the same as the HP60 F350 ? But use a different caliper bracket to fit the smaller HP44 knuckle/spindle bolt pattern.

I ask as the only twin piston calipers I can find are common with both the F250 and the F350. And since SOME F250`s had an HP60 the caliper listing is generic between the two.

The Raybestos part number (RC7007/8) in the link above spec out D60 calipers.

Or is there a twin piston D44 caliper that works with the F250 2 piece 8 lug HP44 caliper bracket ?

Or maybe there is a big ass single piston caliper ?

Know what I mean ? :homer: I sure as hell aren't sure.

Not worried about clearance as a 17 inch Raceline BL is going over `em.

X2 same calipers, the brackets are the same bolt pattern, but the center hole on the 44 version is smaller, could be bored if needed.
Thanks guys. The more I searched the more I was convinced they were the same. Needed someone to tell me though.

I did not want any of the El Cheapo AutoVatoZone rebuilt crap stopping my shit. And the parts stores around here had to special order the calipers (El Cheapo`s that I don`t want) to check fitment.

One thing is for sure. Blaine`s Black Magic Pads will be going in. I had them on my 1/2 ton single piston HP44 stuff and they were a fantastic upgrade.
