Because you did not use the coupon "piratex" which gives you 10% discount, when checking out and select the $0.00 shipping option. The store did have a glitch and should have charged you for sales tax. I will refund the 10% to you on your paypal/credit card. But I have to pay our wonderful state their share.

Hey, do I get a discount for making the video and showing off my leaky front diff?

The lights are awesome and vision x's customer service is top notch. My remote wasn't working, emailed them, and got a quick reply with instructions for how to program/synch it with the master control. My kids like the strobe functions.

Famous?!:laughing: I'm glad you guys like it, it's a great product. Almost took me longer to find a damn song that youtube had to go with it, than it took me to install the system. Saving my pennies for some solstice LED's. :D I like those modular 2" ones.

I just made little brackets with some metal flashing and was able to use all existing bolts for the install. I just loosened the bolt and slid the bracket behind it and tightened it back down. Also made it easy to adjust the aim as I was able to just bend and adjust the flashing by hand. They've held up to many miles of road, desert, trails, and the oceano dunes with the rig being jumped, etc...

I got mine installed last night, make sure you mark the plugs 1-8 so you can plug them in all in a row. It took a couple of tryes to get it right, but now they are all in sequence. :smokin:

Yes, you can absolutely hard wire the lights into a regular circuit with an on/off switch. Just be sure to use a fuse inline from the power source. You can just cut off the mini plug, cut back the sheath and seperate and strip the power and ground wires. You're good to go. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks, Darick

Thanks for all the orders, these things are flying off the shelf, I've had to re-order by the case load!!

This is such a tiny tid-bit of the great VisionX lighting products available. Please look over the website for the complete line.

There are a lot of cool things happening with VisionX, Pirate4x4 and King of the Hammers over the next few weeks. Keep your eyes on this and other threads by Motorsports2, the only "Official VisionX Store" of Pirate4x4.com!!

I LOVE that!!!

I do have a tip for you, at the top of every thread page, just below the page number box is a drop down that says "Thread Tools" Click on that, and it gives you an option to subscribe to the thread, and set an email notification. That's how I know there is a new question that I can get to immediately and answer. It also stores your subsribed threads in your user profile.
