So I fugured it is time I should finally post some pics up of my 98 4runner. I have done a custom 3 link setup in the front with a Dana 60 locked up with 5.13 gears, and a custom 4 link rear with a 14 bolt. all four corners are riding on 14" fox 2.0 emulsion shocks. It does have dual gear driven t-cases with a 5 speed mated to the 3.4l. At this time I only need to put a f150 tank in the rear, brakelines, gussets on the crossmsmbers, exhaust, spreader bar for the shock towers, and some springs on the coil overs. I have been searching all over for spring rates for the coil overs, but not sure what to run, everyone has a different idea. I want to run a dual spring setup front and rear and have about 5" if shaft showing setting my frame height at 25".

i believe 250/350 seems to work pretty well for your setup. i went with those rates cause of others trying them on here with good luck. though my truck doesnt see the road anymore, those rates seemed to work pretty well for me when i went down to KOH. i have other friends that run those rates as well as other guys here on the forum that like it too.

More pics of the build. I just got the f150 tank in today in the rear, barely hangs below the rails, awesome for departure angle. Also ordered up some coils for it today. Can't wait to get them in tomorrow an start gusseting all the crossmembers. Gotta have this thing driving by next weekend hopefully.

Just put on some 14" ORI struts front and rear, sits at 25.5" frame height, drives awesome, and wheels even better. With the new ORI Struts there is very minimal body roll compared to the Fox coilovers. If you are looking for some ORI Struts we are now a dealer for them and can hook you up.

Here are some pics of the tank install, I built a skid plate around it with 16 guage that wrapped tight around the tank. I placed cross bars accross the top of the tank in between my frame rail braces. The tank is held in by pressure fom the skid plate and the bars across the top that run in the factory tank indents. The gas gauge reads backwards. The axles are Dana 60 front full width with a 14 bolt rear full width with 4.5" backspace wheels with 37" km2's. Just took it wheeling at Browns Camp this last weekend and found that I need to shave the 14 bolt real bad, it likes to get hung up, so I am going to shave it up to the ring gear.

Love the ORI Struts, Best Investment I have made yet, Great On Road Manners and even better offroad. I am not running a sway bar front or rear and have very minimal body roll, I have atleast 90% less than with the fox coilovers. I have hit whoops, jumps, and cornered hard and still feel stable.

would like to see more pictures of the gas tank install, specifically how you routed the exhaust.
