Looking for a Heavy Hauler, MN to So CA

There is a Huge possibility that I will be purchasing a 76 Loadstar Ambulance Located in Harmony Minnesota. I'm looking to have it hauled to Montclair California.

Anyone have an HD trailer that could haul this rig? It is in good running condition. I might fly out and drive it but anxious to do so since I didnt really get to kick it's tires personally other than looking at pics and talking to the owner.

A quick google directions gives me this, I-80 W, I-70 W and I-15 S 1,856 mi, 29 hours

Here is what needs to be hauled, give me a price. Thanks
Jason

Looks like the GVWR is above 10,000 pounds

That is not an RV - you have no exemption

You need a CDL to drive that and you will have to enter scales
in every state you pass thru ...

Including California - that is no pick up truck

That means a likely full safety inspection - the equivalent of
a proctology exam on your vehicle - big fines if you are not in compliance
plus vehicle impound - towing - storage if taken out of service

Hmmm, i'll have to look into that. I was aware of that with my 1700 Loadstar but from the DMV it was under the weight and didnt require a CDL to drive in CA. I know my insurance wasnt covered out of the state for my 1700.

I'll start looking into this for the rig I am looking at. Thank you.

Not to call out a respectable hauler but as a straight truck, as long as its GVWR is under 26,000 lbs and it had squish brakes (not air brakes), no CDL is required.

If the trailer hauling it weighs (or is rated for) greater than 10,000, a Class A CDL is required.

Biggest questions: How much does it weigh and what is its GVWR?

Off topic but That truck is bad ASS!!!!! If you don't buy it shoot me some info on it :flipoff2:.

And I had a loadstar 1700 2 1/2 ton'er 4x4 and I did not have to have a CDL For it. It did have hydroboost brakes though.
