Drew has started work on the axles. The plate has guides on the back side that simulate the 9" carrier bearings with a 1.25" bar inside them to line up the tubes and spindles to the housing. The rear housing is a Sandy Cone 10" compatible housing and then dom tubing that Drew had heat treated.

For the front axle I have one brand new inner C from Crane to replace the one I bent during my wreck two years ago. Thanks to Joshua at Crane for coming through on their awesome warranty

For the other inner C, it had to be cut off my old housing and then the tube chunk round out of the inner C. The old housing was welded on both sides of the C.

Here the Spidertrax front housing with my Front upper control arm bracket, made for my chassis geometry and for a fabricated housing. This bracket is all 1/8 100 ksi material, stronger than chromoly.

The bracket is universal and needs to be trimmed to fit the housing.

Dave, that is going to be an awesome rig.
Good luck with everything.
Cannot wait to see it in person.

When you get a chance I'd like to find out what the clarification on the gusset rule was. I'm getting close to that point on my rig. I was hoping to use smaller diameter tube gussets.

Been talking with Wayne about that. He said that 1-1/2 tube gusset to 1-3/4 cage was OK, also need 1 gusset per joint that needs it. Basically any joint that can have a single weld failure need 1 gusset.

Any idea what you guys are going to do for a cell yet? Itching to see and hoping you come up with something that will work for me as well....rear seat friendly :D

Awesome looking build guys, which I had the time & skills to keep up :flipoff2:
