I would position them so I can just reach them belted in. Speaking of witch I have not decided what I am going to do for belts. Just lap belts, stock Jeep type 3 point or harnesses. In my ares if you have a 4/5 point belt you have to wear it all or you can get a ticket.
I would put in a lap belt and then set up the shoulder belts with a carabiner so you can take them out when not Jeeping.

I plumbed mine in an-3 hard line and fittings, but switched to a common soft line. I used 1985 honda accord front flex lines. They gave me an almost perfect 10mm banjo fitting for my calipers without having to run a lot of adapters.

I say whatever soft line you end up using make it common to all locations and carry a spare.

just do a lap belt
x2 on just a lap belt. If you can find them, some WWII bomber seatbelts would be the ultimate. I have been looking for a set for a while...

Still undecided on the belts.

The battery is going on the frame on the passenger side on the motor side of the foot well. It is tight but my best option. I should have it done today.
Sounds like a plan. I have been tossing around the idea of pulling my battery out of the fuel tank sump and relocating it...

That is bloody ingenious! Good job.

Why didn't you build your low rider first so I could use all your better ideas.:flipoff2:

Keep it up.
