I am thinking about going with 18" -4 braided brake lines front and rear. Thoughts?

I plumbed mine in an-3 hard line and fittings, but switched to a common soft line. I used 1985 honda accord front flex lines. They gave me an almost perfect 10mm banjo fitting for my calipers without having to run a lot of adapters.

I say whatever soft line you end up using make it common to all locations and carry a spare.

I was digging around in my attic looking for Jeep parts and ran across this jack that I have had for years. It is the perfect size to fit in a tool bag under the passenger seat.

The battery is going on the frame on the passenger side on the motor side of the foot well. It is tight but my best option. I should have it done today.

Sounds like a plan. I have been tossing around the idea of pulling my battery out of the fuel tank sump and relocating it...

Final placement of the battery. I ended up going with a small Honda battery. A Group 51, 500 CCA.

The battery just barley fits. I had to dimple the floor a bit to get the clearance I needed.

I understand why you put it there but Id be really worried about cooking that battery, even with the heat wrap on the header. Maybe cut up a factory catalytic converter heat shield to make a battery shield?
