Big props man. You're truly the everyman challenge winner in my book and many others. You are who this class was made for. I hope to finish my build soon so I can race against you. Our rigs are strangely similar except I have a YJ. Congrats!

Thanks Mike! You drove one hell of a race and damn near made me throw up in my helmet. Lol. Next year do you think we can not spend all week wrenching and pre run at least 1 mile of the course so I know which way to go :flipoff2: pre running on race day makes me a little stressed. Not that legal tires would have made them an hour and a half slower. It was just nice knowing we were legit. Thanks to our families, our pit crew of two, and the many of you on pirate cheering for us. You guys rock!

Thanks guys.

Just looked the jeep over. She's beat pretty bad. Bent the tie rod and that bent the ram. Tie rod never got heat treated and I knew was a weak link. Bent a lower front link. Lost the fan switch for the radiator. Broke the left front brake line and broke the rear sway bar. Nice bit of body damage. Did I say no flats:D The new Pro Comp m/t 2 tires work better than any tire I've ever run in the rocks and you can actually buy them:flipoff2:

I'm going to pull the stroker apart in a week or so and see what failed. May just sell it and freshen up the stock motor. I think the pump failing caused it to go lean. Hp is nice but I'm not a guy that hauls ass in the desert. Nothing better than passing 26 cars with a nice and used stock motor. I'm mot sure how many passed in the pits. We never stopped in the pits.

All in all a solid day considering all the issues we had. Qualify was huge this year. Starting in back and in the dust sucked and traffic in the rocks sucked.

Starting out in front is huge. At nationals because of my point lead I started first; with the staging it was a minute head start. By the time I came back into pits (starting line) I had about a 3 minute lead on the next car, which was Richard in the XJ and not even a 4500 car. Not sucking dust was awesome and highly recommended!!! lol

When I came in Dave said "your second" I was like holy shit. Who's came in front? "Currie"
I'm like I don't care about them. I beat Brandon. I will say it sucked to see Brandon broke on the side. If he can keep his shit together. He is just as fast as Currie. It may have been a different day if Brandon was running on their ass.

LOL! Thru the whole race I thought Brandon was on our ass. Going up the hill to Jack Hammer I would have swore that Brando was coming down the Sand hill above sledge. I was thinking he is really charging hard. Come to find out later that it was Lovell.

Be ready next year! The only reason we would compete in the 4500 class in 2015 would be if Lindsay does.

That's the spirit! Hell of a run man, congrats on the 2nd place. Funny you can't run a sticky maxxis with "DOT" on the side that anyone can buy but running tires that aren't for sale is perfectly legal haha.

I think we are done with 4500 You guys need to win and I'll help.

I do have another LJ we are building. I've got everything but the time to build it. Fresh LJ 4500 build sounds like fun. I just might have to do that! Being able to build to Mod rules instead of stock would be cool! I've got a couple of months to think about it. We need to finish the companion JK first. We need that done by TDS.
