One more, and forgot to mention that I got the lockrite in the rear today. Me and the boys went for a test ride and wow what a difference it made. I also forgot how awful those things pop when turning, at one point I was almost certain that a rear shaft had just let go.

Enigma coatings in Leander, he did all of these parts for $325, that was a few years back but Chris is a great guy and does the process right.

This little buggy is epic, my boys are 9 and 5 now so I doubt I would complete one in time for them to get good use out of it, they are nearly ready for a Samurai based buggy I guess.

Great job Brian.

It's hard to believe this little buggy is 1000lbs. Id say its bout a 3rd of the size of Ron's Zuk and probably has just as much power :) (before the motor swap) ha ha

You'd better hide the keys with all these outlaws around here that like the drinking in the evening around the fire.

I will have to check Enigma out if I ever get around to working on it. It's pretty hard to get motivated to tear a running driving buggy back down for paint.

I havent posted any updates in a while so I thought Id throw one up. I am going to spray paint the buggy after all. I decided I will most likey end up changing things up at some point and it would really hurt to have to grind thru powdercoat. Here is a pic of the boys new bike rack. He really loves to take his bike to the park!

I actually did a little work to it today and am pretty much ready to paint it. I'm hoping to get the skins done tomorrow. I mounted a quick release fire extinguisher and did all the mounting points for the skins. Also added a little hoop for him to get in and out.
