I have not done a build thread on here in a long time so I thought I would start one for my kiddos buggy that I am starting on. I am not quite sure where it should go so I thought I'd throw it in gen 4x4. What I have got so far is.
Chassis all 1.25 .120 Dom with some 1.0 .095 Dom supports
Sami axles
Sami t-case
Kawasaki prairie 400 4x4 (shaft driven)
Sami steering box
4 fox 2.0 14 air shocks
I am wanting it linked front and rear and I am thinking that I am going to cut all the brake parts off front and rear and run a driveline brake with hydraulic caliper on the rear output. For the drivetrain I am not stuck on the 400 motor but it is pretty damn big and I was wanting something smaller but a friend had it for the right price. My thought right now on the drivetrain is to only use one output and run an intermediate shaft to the Sami case. For steering I want to either run the Sami box with some kind of eps system or get an electric steering pump and do full hydro. I am looking for input on this project so chime in! I really would like to a big hydro pump and run the steering and t-case from that but I have very limited knowledge with hydraulics other than your standard hydro steering setup. Oh and my oldest kiddo is 3 and he currently has a 2 wheel drive jeep that I built him. Pics to follow!
