I just spoke with TECHTIM (Tim Lund at ARB) and he said that we still need about 40 confirmed locker sales in order to make the Rockwell 2.5 ton ARB a reality. Boyce and USA6x6 sent in emails saying that they would buy 6 or 8 of them each, so if we could get a couple of other Rockwell builders to do the same, that would kick ass. The email address the requests need to go to is: TLUND@ARBUSA.COM Tim is a member here and is a super cool guy. What he needs are 75 requests for the locker from people saying they will buy them as soon as they come out. Price will be about the same as the 14 bolt locker, since they are essentially the same. This locker will take very little time to produce once the email requests are sent in.
Tim said he needs the following from each person who wants to email him:
State that you are upset that ARB does not offer a locker for the 2.5 ton Rockwell,
Tell him that you are willing to buy X amount of lockers right now and you can provide credit card information to do so (just say it, bitches :flipoff2: ),
Provide a little description of what your axles are under or what you need the lockers for.
He will, in turn, add these emails to his previous list and present them to corporate and hopefully get the process started in providing us with another locker option for the 2.5 ton Rocks. I mentioned in my email that I would also like to see the lockers fit the 2 inch 47 spline shafts as an option. Anything you want to say is cool, just send emails.
If any of you guys on here that are distributors for ARB want to send an email and say that you would be interested in purchasing X amount of lockers for your customers, that would help out a bunch.
