Tacoma? You should try taco section and say if it's standard cab or extra cab

 

not the tacoma, the one they called a hilux in other countries, and here it was just "pickup" i think.

What year range do you consider 4th gen that's not a tacoma ?

 

model year 1984–1989 is what i'm looking for.

 

That's a fourth gen 2wd, but a second gen 4wd. So that being said do you want a 2wd or 4wd weight?

 

Well a 84-88 cab bare no dash, doors fenders etc. With windsheild is about to much for two guys to lift more than a couple feet off the ground. If that means anything to ya

 

An 84-88 standard cab is roughly 400-450ish lbs. bare, and a x-cab I would say is closer to 500-550 ish lbs. Bare that's including the core support. If no core support drop 30ish lbs off.

 

standard cab is what i was looking for. core support but no fenders hanging off of them, right?

that fits about with the 2 guys barely lifting it (assuming they aren't in phenomenal nor terrible shape)

back from the dead, is a stripped cab (bare cab, no accessories, with only a windshield) around 300LBS? I figured the last time my brother and I sold a cab it didn't weigh more than 300LBS

 

bump is this cab with everything stripped really 400LBS of steel? my brother and I didn't have any problem picking it up
