Amp draw while winching

Ok, I have a fullsize Bronco with a Warn 9500 winch. I would like to know what the amp draw would be under load, as in winching up hills. I will be running dual Napa orbitals or dual Optimas with a 100 amp alt. Will this alt. be enough to keep the batteries charged while winching? I also have 1/0 welding cable for battery cables. Yes I searched, but did not find what I wanted. Thanks

the linear style winches draw around 300+/- at full pull. the 100 amp will do it a lone if its running. you will never be able to completely keep up but the duals will go a long way when the motor wont run.

i ran a 1000 cc/amp battery and a 100 amp alt and never ran short of power [ 8274 pull upwards of 400 amp at full pull]. optimas are 800 ish cc/amp but they will last longer with the motor stoped than a standard battery.
that's pretty much the answer right there. Will you theoretically be able to winch all day long under full load? no, but even if you had the power capabilities you winch would overheat anyway. Will that be enough to be able to winch ourself or someone else when needed, yeah as long as you don't overheat your winch.

Thanks for the replies, I thought I read somewhere that they pulled around that much but I was not sure. I talked to the guy at the alt. shop and he said around 40-50 amps and I thought that sounded low, maybe that is with no load.
