If a Wyatt would update his thread we wouldn't have to guess if this was his rig or not.:flipoff2:

If the builder is working over Christmas break the thread updater should be working too.:p:flipoff2::laughing:
Comedy!

Rick & crew are busting ass through the holidays! That is no lie. Car has a test and tune date in Barstow in 14-15 days  Lots of just dumb little things that equal setbacks. Mechanical gauge senders that just arent long enough for a midengine, so a switch to electics. Cost plus browntruck. Then factor in all of the shops that are closed for the holidays. PAC, IRC are two we need stuff from, but not sweating them for giving their people the holidays off thats awesome. Wyatt shoulda planned ahead a little further.

Only real update I got is lots of browntruck finishing stuff up orders placed and an AmEx that hates me.

no one else uses bilstiens
I'd be really surprised if the rear Bilsteins were still on it in a year. Basically IMO once Joel left Bilstein support became non-existant, at least from my calls out there. Maybe in you are a west coast guy and in the dirt regularly then you may have more interaction. I have no knock of the product, they are top notch, but support needs to be there for me. I'm super needy.

On ward and upward. TTF window nets being made. Just another in-house item that Rick can offer his customers. Nothing but top notch here as well.

Happy New Year! I was working to pay Easy Rick, and he was working to get paid. Simple as that folks.

Some of these are from the book of faces if you didn't catch them over there.

Rear engine apps, always pose some problems with oiling and cooling.
So leaving the Ron Davis Heat Exchanger is a decent run of hard line with a temp sensor port. To keep this from bouncing about EZ whipped up this little solution. And BAM! no mo' flopping around.

Don't mind the piece on the right, that's a Howe Resi mount for another racecar.

Remember that piece I told you don't mind, well heres a pic just in case anyone lacked imagination to see how it worked.

Next up, wiring, dash, cockpit.

Super sano wiring coming out of TTF, granted its not the wiring porn we've seen on other cars, but this beats living crap out of the special short bus rat nest all one color for everything I would have cranked out.

Business side

Fun Side. I think all that's missing is the drivers 5" GPS. Who knows Rick may have nixed that and didn't tell me.

Now for some behind the seat action. cant go fast without the chicken wire son!

Finishing up that exhaust from a page ago, post #94.

Dynomax race bullets. Bad ass little chunks of metal, but too be honest, I have no idea what these are for. Muffle .0005db? Yay, cause we don't care, we want it to sound like RACECAR!!!

And not to detract you from the minimalist muffler are these sick ass all, eat your heart out Jesse James and Paulie Teutal! I think trick photography here, a little mirror action next to one right??? Naw EZ's that good!

How about some more details on how the seats "pin" in and out.:grinpimp:
Ok, Blasé, for you. If you need more detail come by the shop after KOH, we can run it up and down Ace St. with the drag cars from next door.

Raise your hand if you HATE having to gut your interior to get to something in your car and the main problem is getting those MF'ing seats up and out of the road? My old car was 87.5% easy, 12.5% one bolt on the passenger seat that I needed to have a hand the size of a newborn and be able to lift, spin, and align using two fingernails. I thought I had a plan and that was to use those killer Chassis Unlimited billet seat sliders. Space was at such a premium under the passenger seat that just want an option.

So here is the TTF solution to space constraints and suspension seats, quick release alignment pins. If you wonder what keeps the rod from walking out, there is a panel that bolts on, that's not pictured that keeps the handle of the rods captured.

Passenger side front w/ seat in place

Passenger side rear w/ seat in place

Drivers front w/ seat removed

When I see that car in person I'm going to fondle those exhaust tips first thing. Sexy.

I love the quick release seats idea. But is that too quick? Too loosish? Would be cool if that rod screwed in solid like a long big bolt and compressed the brackets laterally

I don't think those Bilstein's will be on there is a year or so. i can see fade problems coming down the line as, if i remember correctly nick nelson melted the stickers off his 3.0's in a lap or 2 at the Desert Challenge running class 1. those 2.625's aren't gonna be enough. it looks like to me though that there might be enough room there for a 3.0 in the rear.

Even my 3.5's would fade fairly quick being that close to the header.

I've made no secret of that, so you are pointing out the obvious. Cookies to you!
On road I drive extremely fast and clean, offroad...its been a few years since I've been in the dirt. So its not like I'm going after Robby Gordon on its first outing. Be realistic here.
Now add 60gal of fuel off the ass, this car is very undershocked. It wasn't designed to be this way, but morphed into what it is. Like said above, if it makes it very long without being up-shocked, I'd be surprised or I'm broke, your call.
