anyone have experience with either one of these m18 blowers running a 4ah battery?
both recommend the 9ah batteries, i have three 4ah that i'd like to use
don't blow much besides the deck and short sidewalk
I have both as well. The small one is perfect for blowing off the porch or blowing out the trailer or even under garage benches/etc. 2.0 or 5.0 batteries work great.

The big one, 5.0 batteries work well, the 2.0 do not. With a single 5.0 I can get probably 10-15 minutes out of it. It's enough clean meticulously clean pine needles off a 700sqft driveway on a single battery.

Very pleased with them both.

I have the standard m18 and the shop has the deep cut. I’ll be getting the deepcut version shortly. Standard one can get into some tighter areas otherwise get the deep cut

honestly, for that kind of use I'd get a used corded one for a hundred bucks
Definitely. Why waste a perfectly portable cordless tool to mount it in a fixed location. Get a used cordless one and leave it mounted up, grab the M18 for your everywhere tool.

Looks like I have to swap out my 1/4" impact. I somehow stripped all it's teeth in the impact section. Hold the tip, and the motor spins, but the tip doesn't.

Slightly disappointed. :(

Little pissed off at Mileaukee right now. Sent my 3/8 in for repair. Got it back along with a message that it was not warranty due to being worn out. Less than 2 years old with a 5 year warranty and I’m getting told it is worn out. I handed it over to my Cornwell dealer and he’s calling his contacts to see about getting it repaired. We’ll see how this turns out.

From their warranty... They don't have to repair it. So much for being a 5 year warranty and having a good reputation.

This warranty does not apply to damage that MILWAUKEE determines to be from
repairs made or attempted by anyone other than MILWAUKEE authorized personnel, misuse, alterations, abuse,
normal wear and tear, lack of maintenance, or accidents.

This.

I two corded Milwaukee bandsaws, as well as they 12v compact version, and the 12v gets used the most. In fact, its probably one of my most used cordless tools right now...

I just wish they would make it with up to a 3" capacity.

I have the 18v subcompact (3 1/2") bandsaw. I love it. I just wish they made a brushless version

I also have a 5" corded portaband. I have not used it much since I got the cordless
