Mine did. I cut a V out of them, folded and welded them back together. Though they still need more bracing, I know more now than I did when I originally put these in so they are kinda shady.

and I made brackets to put the shock on top of the axle though it should lean back a little instead of straight up like I have it

What if I leaned them back some ,it would probably fit better. Besides my shocks arent that fancy so it should work just fine. Now I just need to swipe a couple of those mounts.

J/W? did you make that steering shaft or did you buy it somewhere?

Appears to be the steering shaft off an early 90's jeep cherokee, it takes about 25 minutes to install and will work wonders of your steering. You can read up on it on ck5

It's a Borgeson steering shaft, not off a Jeep, but if a Jeep one will work do it :) I wanted to get rid of the rag joint and run full universal joints. I bought it from Summit Racing.

and the mounts are sold separately.
Yeah anything to get rid of that rag joint

It wasnt first on the to do list but the pic reminded me ,just something worth looking into.

I just got a steering u-joint off an 89 chevy van, it fit perfectly, I just had to shorten the stock shaft about 6 or 8".

Also, Ruff stuff makes shock towers. Very beef, very resonable $$, I think its the route Im going.

Looks good man Ive been watching your build ,nice work.

As for the orange I had an abundance of it when I started my build so I used it.
Thanks for likin my work.
Do you have clearance problems with your engine crossmember and your crossover steering? And who did you have do the machine work for the passanger side knuckle and how much? thanks

Ummm it bumped once not hard but its enough for me to look into an ord x member. And it was just a local machinest , I think he only charged me like 15 bucks. For not knowing what the hell I was talking about he did a good job.
