I think higher RPMs would suit his driving style better.. Also make the crowd run faster !!

He had a 4bt, turned up a bit.

 

The idea of a 4BT in a buggy is sweet, but I can see the want for a gas burner. I wish I could've gotten to see it in person before he tore it down again; turbos and black smoke are badass. Interesting that he used a YJ grill this time around. Are the skins going to be that color as well?

I'm starting to feel the same way.

 

I have a 4bt waiting to swap into my scout. might sell it and get a 6bt instead.
did you an run auto too 91onetone? mines attached to one but im thinking stick.

 

what do those 4bt's put down numbers wise? would they do good in an old chebby truck that occasionally tows?

Nice! I really like the idea of a diesel in a buggy, but I could be wrong on it.. Then again.. I like diesel in everything!!!!!!!

 

How's the oil pan I modified working out? Did you decide to add back some oil capacity?

 

it turned out great .. ill probably over fill it a little and add a oil accumulator

the diesel probably had close to 200hp it they are 130 factory

Did you leave the 6.0 stock or has it been modified? What is the estimated power output?

 

jims performance did the harness and flashed the computer .. its got close to 400 hp

 

are you running the stock headers?

 

Nice lookin rig. I wish you had kept the old grille for its uniqueness but the yj looks good too.
