Just think how long it's going take grooving those with a hot knife......:flipoff2:

Spend the cash on the CBR cooler man. Money well spent for sure.

Heaviest tire/wheel combo known to man? :flipoff2:
I pooped a little bit trying to get one of mine up 8" to the axle at full bump the other day:eek:

i suggest grooving the center lugs, i did mine and the difference was quite noticeable
I plan on it. Gonna buy one of those 80 dollar groovers. Any recommendations?

Send it back if you haven't opened it yet. I have that same one and it doesn't cool worth a shit.
The ebay special is bad? It's out of some race job in socal and looks just like the CBR units I have seen. Guess it if doesn't work I can use it as a oil or steering cooler.

i have this one

Deluxe 110 Volt 250 Watt Grooving Iron - Speedway Motors, America's Oldest Speed Shop

for the price it works ok, dont use an extension cord as it wont get as hot compared to plugged directly into the wall. i had to make two passes on each lug to get the width i wanted, took me about 30 minutes to do a tire, did all 4 tires with the same blade. i bought a bigger head and blades for it but it didnt get hot enough so i just use the head it came with.

Got the front shocks in as well as bumps. Power steering pump is in and I pulled string to figure out what belt length I need. Started setting up the ram for full hydro. Late start but good progress.

It's officially a roller now. Steering is all setup on the axle and I got the fuel cell in its final resting place. Set it at ride height. Lower links are flat, belly is 19" and I have 5" uptravel for now.

I left enough room behind the fuel cell to run the sway bar.

Good progress today and I even cleaned the work space and did the yard work.

Debating moving my motor back 5" 2 benefits I can think of is better weight distribution and my oil pan on the trans wont be blocked my the lower link crossmember. Worth the time?

I believe I could get the 2nd engine cage bar back in and everything will be truly protected. Pushing the motor back will also increase the room I have for the front driveline. Geeze the more I type the more I find advantages :D

I think I am finally going to pull the trigger on my harness this week and finally get that ordered. Was trying to source a stock harness and haven't had any luck. Looking at the PSI brand.

I run PSI harness for my swap. Best $500 I ever spent (I HATE wiring). Literally plug it in, hookup 3 wires and go. If I can do it, anyone can.

EDIT: Oh and their customer service is awesome. I called them several times with all kinds of dumbass questions and they were quick to explain everything to me. Even answered a few emails on the weekends.
