mmm..maybe I missed something ;but, those pics look like the Jellico event and not the Rocket Rockcrawlers event:confused:

I was there to spectate, then this guy said he did not have spotter so I spotted for him on the new course. We were running small 36" Buckshot mudders. Damn those tires held up better than I thought they would.

Thanks to all that helped put the event together, it was a blast.

so was last year

Let 's see, what was not to like:

- Great weather!, didn't rain for several days, so the course wasn't a mud bog.
- RCRC split the course into to 2 from last year so comps got started faster.
- 25 entries all filled although one backed out this morning.
- Plenty of water and drinks
- Lots of action due to the much better course, thanks for Danny and Scott
- The quality of the competition was so much better this year

The only complaint I heard this year was to for the club to be able to sell cold drinks up near 4 & 5. Given the heat, this is probably a good idea.

I look forward to next year.

Well, I just got home, and am totally tired. It was great getting to meet so many of you guys there today.

Tyler(TyTy) ,Thanks a Mill. for the refreshments. You were a life saver.:)

Congratulations on good performances to all those that web wheel here.:D I would list them all, but there were so many, that I know I would forget some names.

It was a FUN day thanks to the Rocket City Rock Crawlers club. Good show guys.

I will post up a few pictures before hitting the shower and some ZZZzzzzz's.......

Here is Big Dudes Big incident, which hopefully somebody got a better series than I did.

This picture, as with most all pictures, just doesn;t realistically show what happened.

Look at the people in the background....at their facial expressions.....It gives a hint. We thought Big Dude was gonna eat it.

Kevin had to drive the rig this way for a good mile or so to get abck to the trailer, and the ride out of the woods was.....um.... interesting with 2wd, no brakes, a front axle held onto the rig with the winch cable and a come-a-long, the T-case chain doing the jingaling thing inside the case, and TopLoader4x4 strapped to him to keep him from flying down the "mountain"(Alabama Mountain ;) ).

Rock on.....

Those are some good shots Sean ( by the way, good to meet you). I was on the end of that tightrope in the first pic and when the dust settled and I got done spinning down the hill, I was just glad to see Kevin on all fours instead of his lid.
Oh, yeah....and I forgot to mention 350 Samurai's "Disco Dancing" on the end of the rope trick....:p

Amd we can't forget the "spotter boning privileges".;)

I have two more pics in series of BigDudes finish , but they just don't appear to show ANY ACTION:mad:
