Two built steering rocks for sale, set up under buggy project
I started a project a number of years ago that, even if I had time to finish from its current state of 90% completion, I'd never have time to fully use. So, it's time for all or part of it to go:
The axles:
Two steering 2.5 ton rockwells - both are ujointed shafts. Both have been greased and filled with correct gear lube, and I've replaced all known bad parts on these axles, although the rear could use new boots.
Full hydro front steering - Orbital and double ended ram, originally sourced from Rockstomper
Rear hydro steering - spool valve and single ended ram, on a raised tie rod and custom high steer arms
Rear axle has Ouverson alloy shafts
Welded diffs
Wheel brakes at all four corners, with Sierra Racing Products and Wilwood calipers - easy control of massive tires.
Rear axle is shaved.
Comes with extra differentials, Flanges, all driveshafts (front is pillow blocked), extra axle shafts, extra outer knuckles, probably another axle's worth of spare bearings, and all suspension parts (both are 3 link - massive uniball and Spherical Bearing Y lower arm and standard triangulated uppers), if you want them, which you do because there is a ton of work and parts in them.
I will not split up any component out of these axles.
Both axles and all componentry above for $4000.
Buy the axles, and I'll make you a deal on other, remainder parts:

Uber rare military double beadlock wheels ("combat"-style wheels, DUKW-era, with Stazworks-sourced 20" diameter PVC beadlock rings) and 53" Michelin XL tires, correct backspacing to work with the hub-out wheel brakes: $600
Twin sticked 203-205 doubler with all necessary parts, and along with a core 4L60-e if you want it (tranny is a runner, but has a small, reparable crack on the output housing) : - $700
LT1 engine, all accessories, and aluminum radiator - $1000
Warn M8000 winch - $350 (I'm happy to keep this if you don't want it)
Sway away 16" coilovers (front) - need to be charged+valved but come with springs - $500
12 gal fuel cell - $100
This is really about selling the axles since they are the hardest to unload, but buy it all and I'll make you a killer, killer deal - PM for details, or make me an offer. Best part is that this runs, drives, and wheels pretty well. This project just really needs finishing as is, or would make a killer platform from which to start a new project.
This is something I'm sure I'll regret selling, but the time has come. Life has brought other things in the past few years.
