white lithium spray, then wipe it off with a rag after. Wipe down the bender every night before shutting down. Haven't tried WD40, does that work as well?
I don't lube my tubes (he, he). Instead, I spray my follower dies with Amsoil HD Metal Protector. The new JD2 dies do not mar tube so I basically just want to protect the dies and the Amsoil stuff does a nice job of that.
Whipe tube clean, quick hit w/ 800 grit on the tube, EP2 Greese on the follower side keeping it off the big die, works well. Zero spring back, and no follower scuffs/damage anymore.
WD-40 here too. Depending on how long I have had the tub sitting around I will spray the tube with WD then wipe it with a red scotch brite pad, then with a clean rag. Load it in the bender and another quick squirt of WD on the die contact area.
