Nice work man! Howd those tires do? Jeep looks kick ass in person....

Any thoughts of a V8 in the future?
Thanks!!

Tires rocked. I don't think there's a v8 going in. Right now my limit is the suspension and my talent tank. Once I get that dialed I'll think about a motor.

I've already got a call into Wayne to see what I need to do.:D

Nice to have put a face to the jeep if you will! It was a great day even if my less that 60 mile new rebuilt trans died at mm 51!

Look forward to meeting up with you again.

I'm a newbie here on posting but not to the site. I love looking at everyone's build's and seeing what everyone is talking about.
My name is Sam and I am the co-driver to Mike. I just wanted to come on here and thank him for giving me the opertunity for the second year in a row to co-drive. I know he gives me a lot of props on here, but he is the one driving.

What an experience to go out and race one of the top 10 hardest races in the world. I see some people complaining on how hard the course was. And it was hard. Just what we wanted, if it was easy then it wouldn’t be in the top ten. The only real problem we ran into was the first obstacle "after shock" where we got high centered. I would also like to thank the people that gave us a tug back so we can get back on track. That’s where my inexperience came in. But we drove through it and made it and that’s what we worked so hard for all year long. Low budget team starting late at night after the kids go to bed.

I would also like to say thanks to some of the people that help make this all happen. Wayne at Alltech, Savey, Parts Mike, Ecko Motorsports, our pit crew, and of course our friends and familes that supported us all year long. Thanks Mike it was a blessing sitting by your side. Even with that t.v. of a gps I have I still manged a few wrong turns here and there. Hope to continue this journey because it has been a blast. 4Th place last year, 3rd place this year. Not to shabby. Congrates and thanks again.

Co-dawg Sam

Shit I got the wrong package. I'm going to have to ditch the Converse for some DVS's.

what shocks/bumps are you running?
I have 2.5 IBP's and no bumps. It started out as a family crawler so I went with the IBP's for space reasons. Never had the cash to add the bumps. I need to add some bumps and more tuning or go to by-passes in the rear and more tuning. But in the deep stuff it started to hit real hard in the rear and I had to back off.

I'm going to talk to Wayne and see what he thinks I should do. I don't have a clue when it comes to tuning.
