Mike , I switched over after Glen Helen from the dynomax race bullets
to the stainless Borla's the flow is better with noticed increase in pep. and my neighbors are Happier I really enjoyed our Rubicon trip as it was more peaceful ....I have an extra If you need it sitting in garage

PS My new 63 Race VW rig should be ready soon !
Guess what motor were puting in ...
Is that a muffler and resonator? I'm running a 3" bullet on mine and it's nice a throaty sounding, but definitely over the top after a while. I would not mine mellowing it out, as long as I do not lose the performance that I picked up.

Thanks George, but I'm already running a Magnaflow that is very close to the Borla. I need the space.
What motor you dropping in? I'd go with a Subaru.

Got the new Pro Comp wheels mounted up. Look great. Oh. Did I mention they are made in the USA?:smokin:

Had them tested last week. Was really hoping to find one plugged. But all tested perfect. I really wish I could find a issue and say that was the cause.

I run Bosch filters and their replaced after every trip. Fuel lines are stainless tube with rubber only at the joints. I was just in the tank and it's clean.

Dang.

Good luck man, I've been following this build for a while... I'll be cheering you on from PA this year. :smokin:

wilson No preformance lost with Borla.

The borla is just like dynomax race bullet but actually better breather, the 3inch race bullet is what I took out , just gets old being so loud...
Borla sound different more like a turbo , hard to explain ...maybe a stainless
steel material is why they sound different.I went with the one on the right in my picture above ... referred by friend with same in his race buggy..

Enjoy the wheels Mike... Hope to see you out there.

Thanks guys.

A few pics of the rockers. Also made some new links. Old links had a nice little bend, but the RuffStuff joint were still tight. Built a new engine and trans skid.

Don't be rubbing any of that red off on my freshly painted blue panels during the race! Looks good Mike!
Thanks

If all goes well. I'll never see you. But I don't see that happening.
