This is one of my favourite builds on here.

We're damn near the same age and every time there's a badass picture of your XJ I save it and show it to my gf and say "I want mine to look like THIS!"

Lol fuck yourself.... But yes, it's true.... Re-learned a few lessons today. A, never go wheelin by yourself... B, if you do go out by yourself, make sure you have a plan to get your shit out... I.E. winch, come-a-long, and if you don't have either... Don't take the hardest fucking line possible on your shake down run..... :shaking:

My Shifters aren't done yet, I don't think I was in double low, I thought I was but found I wasn't.....

It's all good now.. Hopefully.. Need some seat time for sure, ive lost my touch lol

:confused: why are you going to run a 1310 to 1350 bastard joint? looks like you are running a square drive shaft cut the 1310 yoke off so you can run a real 1350. i could see running a bastard joint if you already spent the coin on a nice drive shaft.

I was thinking the same thing but it was strong enuff to break that yoke so you'll probably be fine. I got a couple extra 1350 yokes laying around, Problly a good idea to keep a extra in the jeep along with some joints too. Don't want to hit the trails without any :smokin: joints
 
Badass to see this thing up and running man! Though wheelin alone...yeah haha. I'd recommend a bigger u-joint as said above. I broke a 1330-1350 converson joint with less than 400 miles on it on 36" tires, the billet yoke I have has outlived everythng I've thrown at it. Granted I shock loaded mine pretty big to do that, but don't you want things surviving shock loads, accidental or not?

I'm doing it this way until I have access to a welder again... Just moved away from most of the equipment...

And it's not like it just "broke".... It took like 10 neutral drops before it broke which could of been completely ivoided had I been in double low or had a fucking winch line on my winch, or had a buddy with me to lend a tug, or had the paitience to wait till my shit was 100% to take it out.......

Yes sir.. Possibly Reno within a year.. Depends on where my chick gets into nursing school...

If you ever get out of hawaii an out this way hit me, crash at my place an we'll do some wheelin
